Yeah I mis quoted what he said,,, Cause I Asked again and He basically said the same thing about the tighter tolerances inside, and regular gear oil would be too thick, and wont lube everything enough,,,,

I did change the fluids in everything and I agree I did not like the amount of metal on the tranny drain plug magnet,,,with ATF 4,,, Also I think that was the first time service for the tranny & transfercase,,,, the diffs were were in good shape and appeared to have been serviced twice, no sharp edges on the gears

Mines past warranty as well so, I Picked up a case of the RP gear oil @ the races for 96.00 out the door, that's about 12.00 cheaper per quart than the Mopar Gear lube!!!!!! I wont buy that again!!!!!! I Will!!!!! give the syncromax a shot when I find some,,,
