Fuel/Water Separator

FASS 150

I'm considering a Racor R120 Series 10 micron (R120T) with a clear bowl. They also have 30 micron (R120P). It has the correct thread but I'm not sure if the gasket/seats are the same. It's rated at 120 GPH. The max pressure is 15 psi. I'm pushing 16 so I think it's safe. There is usually a bit of breathing room on pressure specs. If not can go with the R90 series that has 30 psi max but only 90 GPH. Actually for me that should be plenty. Racor is known for their "Aquabloc II) water removal technology. The clear bowl is great. You can add a heater if you want.

Looks like this without the head.. The length gives it the high flow. The R90 is much shorter.

That will do the job. I have a Racor SM2000, older style, in the pump line from my 70 gallon bed tank. If your going to feed it or use it with an out of the tank pump, then its recommended you put it on the suction side of the pump and pull threw the racor.

I have put about 900 gallons thru the system to date, no water seen yet. I have some solids from the tank in the bottom of the bowl. You might be able to see them in the pic's below. Mine has a 10 micron filter in it so it does do a little cleaning before it goes to the trucks tank.

I have the R45S 2 mic Racor filter and the aquablock has saved my azz a few times now. Easy to spot water in the bowl.
