Re:Fuel Pressure Box?

Something is up with your truck. From what I hear with all the other guys they have no issues pulling with there 6spd HO. Check your intercooler hose clamps to make sure they are nice and tight. Also have the dealer mechanic do a diag on your computer to make sure all is well. I'm glad I went with 4.10's now simply because of the mechanical advantage, but I don't know why your 6spd would be a terd. hmmmm ???

Re:Fuel Pressure Box?

I can see where muddy is missing his power - given his previous puller - but the clown has me wondering as well ??? ???

Clown, this is the stupidest question you've probably been asked, and I don't want to come off as an a$$ but....are you certain you have an H.O. 6 spd ? Are there 6 FORWARD gears on you're truck ? Or 5 forward gears and reverse (totaling 6 gears) ??? Given all the positive feedback on the HO's and my personal experience (only a test drive) I think there must be something wrong with your HO (or is it an SO? ).

Yes, the HO only comes with a 6 speed, that is why I was clarifying that you actually do have a 6 speed - and not a 5 speed. Thought maybe you were counting reverse and thinking that your 5 speed was the 6 speed...apparently not the case - sorry for asking such a dumb question, but occasionaly the dumb questions do come through with the solution.

I'd have the truck looked at and put on a scope at least before trading in or selling.

Re:Fuel Pressure Box?

If I recall Dodge dealer has like 3 chances to fix the Cummin problems and then he can have it sent right to a Cummins service center which is much better qualified to work on them and may even have a dyno to test it on. Sounds like their is for sure something wrong. Only thing I have pulled with mine so far is an empty 40' gooseneck the weighs in the 8500# area. Set the cruise at 75 and it never slowed down, from what I can tell the power is their.
