Yeah I was trying to get some pics on here for you but I don't have any good ones and since my truck is in the shop for a new set of ball joints and an alignment I can't take any right now... I'll try to get some soon...

But with the 35's I When I do rub it's on the Frame and antisway bar... I got about 1/2" before I get into the fender or wells.... So maybe if you trimmed the wells out and put on some flares you would be alright with 37's but you would still rub on the frame and sway bar... Again... With that said, maybe some off set rims would help that issue...

If your willing to put in the time and work, I'm sure you could get it done... but ****... how much more is a 3" lift than a 2" lift and would require less cutting...

I have not run into any rubbing issue's w/ my 35's. Maybe the adapters on my DRW move the tire out more than on a SRW? That is why I was thinking w/ 37's I could get by with a leveling kit?

Some of us that run 37's and a 6" lift actually take our off road and don't want any rubbing.

For those wanting who care, I'm turning 2000 rpm at 80 mph.
Dang Pauly your mileage is worse than mine w/same setup (wheel/tires not perfomance mods). I got 14.4 hand calc'd last tank driving primarily to and from work. But then again i dont live in socal so i am probably alot less stop and go than you. What is funny about the mileage is that i never gave one rats behind about mileage when i had gassers; with the 2 diesels i am obsessed with it. Never thought twice about getting 14mpg's in my little 4x4 nissan or f-150. My wife tells me I am going to get tennis elbow as often as I check the OHC! Even my kids joke about it.

Yeah.... go on with your bad self.... If that is what you like more power to you... I just say if you can run 37's with a 3" lift and no rubbing why add the other 3"s.... That Differential is still the same height no matter if you put a 13" lift on it...

Again... If that is what you like go ahead... No ones stopping you... As long as you don't stop those of us who don't.... hahaha

.....and 13" of lift will get them an extremely top heavy rig that is not capable of serious wheeling. The more "lift" you put on a vehicle, the more top heavy it becomes, and the less capable it becomes on the trail.

Who needs a lift to run 37"s ?

The Toyos are like having 7th gear...

In-town mileage went down a click, since it takes more fuel to get them rolling (tire itself weighs 94#), and highway mileage went up significantly due to lower engine RPM. 15mpg in-town, 20 highway if you keep RPMs below 2K... go over 75mph and lbs/hr of #2 really increases!
That's with Smarty #2 & Quad PL1 for best BSFC.

p.s. 16mpg with GN in tow... your mileage may vary, since we run the trucks at GVWR.

Bob's got about 3" of "lift" from the Carli kit and XLR8TR is running a 2" leveling kit so no they are not completely stock.
