Fuel Leak

When I got to work today, I noticed quite a puddle underneath. Turns out the one fitting that was leaking was the hardest to get to. Tightened her up and gave her a bath. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem? The truck now has about 5800 miles.

Re:Fuel Leak

Which fitting needed tightened?
I had a fuel leak where the lift pump is bolted to the fuel filter housing. The bolts holding the pump to the filter housing wasn't torqued to spec.

MikeyB
Re:Fuel Leak

I think it was leaking from a fitting on the rail. The other end of the line connects to the injector. It was the first injector. The fitting is underneath the square section on the intake manifold. You wouldn't believe how much fuel was coming out. It was a good thing the mechanic was still at work to lend a hand as I had no tools with me especially an offset open end.
