Fuel Heater probs?

So far this season I have had 3 fuel heaters changed. Finally to be told there is a light recall on the solenoid. Great...have that changed ( all under warranty of course) And surprise...engine light on again.
I have to say...never ONCE have I had trouble starting the truck...just when the fuel heater apparently wasnt functioning..the engine light would come on..and off to the dealer I would go.

After the 5th time, leaving my truck and being stuck with a crappy rental like a caravan. ( my ego was hurt alot) They finally fixed it. Said it was a corroded wire to the solenoid. Being that I am NOT at all familiar with diesels... I am .

Anyone else having issues with their fuel heaters or anything to do with that??

Its been a week...and my truck as always is running fine and NO engine lights on.

Just a fluke, rarely if ever seen a filter heater failure or faulty wire. Not saying it hasn't happened but I wouldn't be concerned.

Atleast we have fuel heaters that can fail. Unlike some of the other brands that don't have them at all!!

Jinxed myself.

Da** thing is in the shop again....fuel heater AGAIN.

Everytime it gets cold....the engine light comes on...and throws a code saying fuel heater failure.
