fuel filter housing

fuel filter housing

i have found what looks and feels like sand in the bottom of the fuel filter housing. has anybody had this problem? got feeling around the top of the fuel tank and found 2 short probes at the back and front of the tank that r open. i suppose those are for a vent?

Look on this site... there are plenty of posts where a fuel filter is installed in each of the lines to keep crap from getting into the tanks. This is a real issue to be addressed
