Mine measures at 29mm

 

1 1/8 inch socket. Be sure it is a six sided socket or you will risk rounding off the corners of the hex on the cap.

 

Thanks, I think I have one of those sizes in a 3/4 drive.

And isn't it the same size as the lug nut wrench??

If it is, good to know in an emergency...I just carry the socket, swivel, extension and rachet, along with filters and the serpentine belt in my emergency kit.

i got the special fuel filter socket from geno's

the guy that does my service work, says the short little socket works great for the job of changing the fuel filter.

I keep it in the box with the Baldwin fuel filters i order from Geno's

 

Do you have a link to that? All I see are Mopar and Fleetguards...

 

Geno's sells Balwin fuel filters?? I've never seen them. I have to buy fuel and oil filters from separate vendors.

I love to pay twice the shipping...not.
