FS2500 Owners....

Does anyone have the install instructions laying around that they could scan and email me?

Also, does anyone have a full, complete list of all the needed fittings that come with this kit? Thread type, style, etc......THANKS!

How long do the FS2500 filters last for?

i know the fitting on the top of the factor filter head you have to use is 1/8" NPT thread and the kit is supposed to flow back into an aftermarket oil filler cap, mine on the other hand just flows back into a fitting attatched through a hole drilled into the valve cover, it just has an o-ring that seals it unfortunatly i dont know what they are called off the top of my head, I'll take a pic of it tomorow in the daylight and post it for you.

Install isnt that complicated lookin, mine was in my truck when i bought it used so i dont have first hand experiance but it looks easy

as for how long they last I've been told all sorts of things from 10,000 miles to leave them in until they no longer allow oil to flow as they work better when they are slightly full of soot particles????????????????? your guess is as good as mine as to which advice to follow.

What are you payin for the filters down there? im gettin hosed for $45.00 Canadian, so about $36 US?
just wonderin is all

Good luck with it

Not to compleaty stir the pot.. but why the FS2500? The amsoil is cheaper, filters better, and the filters are rated for 60K miles.

I re made all of my lines with -4AN fittings and lines from summit. you need the 4 hose ends, -4 line, 2 1/4npt to -4an, and 2 1/8 npt to -4. I taped my valve cover for 1/8 npt thread. But I will be moving it to the rocker box next time I remove it.
The FS2500 instructions say not to change the filter until the filter doesn't get to engine temp anymore. They said as long as it gets hot the oil is flowing/filtering.

It depends where you mount the filter. I mounted mined on the body mount behind the fender liner under the air filter using wedge spacers I made. I made both lines from a 6 ft length.
