Front Hub Warranty??

Front Hub Warranty??
I have a 2005 4x4 Laramie. Do any of you know if the front hub bearings are covered under warranty? The truck has 60K miles. The truck is covered under the extended 7 YR/70,000 mile drive train warranty. Took the truck to the dealer and they say this is not covered. Thanks.

I'm assuming it was the maximum care extended warranty that you have...
Click on the My Current Plan tab and put in your info and it should tell you whats covered:

no just what came with the truck 3years/36000 and the drive train warranty 7year/70000 i guess they dont consider the front hub bearings as part of the axle housing and internal parts

OK,
If you are going to have to buy parts you might want to think about adding the free spin hub kit with re-packable wheel bearings.. do a search of this site for the kits and install..

Don't let the dealer bend you over like that. I thought I had a bad hub and the dealer quoted me $450.00 parts plus 2.5 hours labor. I found a better part (national) at O'Reilly Auto Parts for $240.00. Turned out it was my left axle U-joint.
I took it to a local garage and they charged me 2 hours labor and guess what.... that included removing the hub to get to the U-joint.
When I asked the dealer parts dummy why their parts were so high he replied, "It's an OEM part." I told him the first OEM part went out at 70K, what make him think I wanted another POS to put back in there?
