On the phone, the guy at my local Cummins place said the oil filter didn't change from 2004 to 2004.5. I didn't ask about the fuel filter though.

I have a friend that used to work in a local facility that made filter media for a lot of the big filter manufacturers. He knew first hand what companies bought which quality of filter media, and he said Fram ALWAYS bought the left over stuff that none of the other companies would buy.

I've also seen first hand oil pressure problems caused by Fram filters on BBC race motors.

No Fram for me.

Go to ebay, I bought a case of the factory Mopar oil filters for $79.00. They are from a Dealer in Texas. Got 3 fuel filters for $28.00. Buy Delo 400 (6 gallons=2 oil changes) at Costco for $33.50. Why buy Fram?
