I have an 04.5 and feel something slipping upon takeoff from a full stop. It does not do it any other time. Ive looked all under the truck to find something loose to no avail. Feels like the spare tire loose but it is not. It is smooth in transition and feels torque related and coming from the rear. Could my LS be going bad? It started after the snow/ice we had here in Dallas a few days ago and used 4 wheel drive.

 

My truck feels like its doing the same thing, Ive got 10,000 miles on it.Its only from a dead stop. Everything feels/looks tight underneath. It doesnt make any noise, nor is it all the time. Possibly trans. related?

 

Well, greasing the slip yoke real good solved the problem. Runs like a champ now. The truck feels like it is vibrating a little less too. Hopes this helps someone else...
