? 4 those with elec. 4x4

We are looking at getting my wife a new pickup. It will have to have heated leather seats. For those of you with kids and leather seats you know how great they are. And they have to be heated to keep mama's big ol butt warm . OK, don't tell my wife I said that or she'll kill me. Basicaly what I'm wondering is have your had any problems with your electric 4x4. I've always had the manual and am a little leary of the elec 4x4. In my mind it just one more thing to go wrong. So let me know your experience.

I think its going to be hard to find leather and manual 4x4 transfer case. It will likely need to be ordered for you.

133,000+ on my 04 Laramie. I use it all the time, no problems. I would be hesitant to go back to a stick after the conveniences of the electric shift.

All the 05's we've looked at have been heated leather and manual shift 4x4, but all the 03 and 04's are electric. We missed out on one that the whole family loved, but I wasn't willing to give 30K for it. My 2yr old daughter kept asking if we were going to buy the yellow truck.

250,000kms, and no problems so far, knock on wood.
not much difference between the 2 really. i just did a vaccuum pot on an 01, for the front diff.which is a shifter lever to switch to 4x4.he has about the same kms as me.i think they both can have problems, and with no shifter there on the floor, makes it cleaner looking, and easier to clean. i like mine, and fast engagement too.
