I had the same problem with my 2003 and found out after 5 sets of wires that the radiator was not in the bottom mounts

I had the same problem with a truck from another dealership. They replaced the fan clutch three times for this problem. You need to check for runout in the fan hub. I replaced the bearing and hub and solved the problem. If you have any wobble in the fan and pulley then replace the hub and bearing. This causes the wiring to start whipping at higher RPM's. When that happens it catches the fan blade and rips out the wiring to the clutch. The other dealership also replaced the radiator because of damage twice. Good Luck

If you don't they already got ripped off at some time and your fan is only running at about 60% efficiency with the viscous drive.

Look on the bottm right hand side (facing front of truck) of the shroud. You should have a plug and metal tube bolted to the shoroud mount. The metal tube runs up the front of the rad to protect the wires. If the tube is not there and solidly mounted to the shroud mount the wires will never hold in front of the fan.
