fan blades??

i just changed my belt, and noticed that one of the fan blades has a slight crack in it. as i was trying to get the belt between 2 pulleys, i must have bent the fan blade with the crack some.
after install, i noticed a vib, through the brake pedal, which is on and off.when moving, more then idle rpm, it doesn't seem to do the vib.
when i got home , i looked at the fan , and noticed that i had bumped it apart, so i used needle nose pliers and put the blade back together. i figured this was causing the fan to not run true and balanced. but i still feel this vib through the brake pedal, some times through the skinny pedal too.
i can also hear this vib, and it get louder or more noticable when i engage the clutch fan.
i am trying to order a new fan blade replacement(won't mention any names here)
but i also heard that there have been some problems with the clutch as well.
anybody have or heard of this problem , or some thing similar????
it didn't do this before the belt change, and i can believe it would be the belt, or could it???
the belt was tight to get between the crank pulley and the big idler pulley above it, is there some thing there in that area that i could have bumped???/
any input would be of some help
thanks

Definitely change the fan out asap. When blades break while running, they can go any direction and do a lot of damage, even hurt someone.

If it were me, I would NOT even start the engine again until I had the new fan on. But that's just me.

Many years ago when in the Air Force I knew a guy that had his bicep severed by a fan blade coming off. I WOULD NOT run the engine with a broken fan blade.
