Was talking to a buddy with an 06 1 ton automatic last night.He stated that he had to have is trans serviced because it wasn't shifting.Some internal parts had to be replaced and the dealer charged him $600.We did we buy the warranty if this is happening ? I thought ALL drivetrain parts were covered.
Where did I go wrong ?

 

It didn't take me long to realize that the warantee isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Some dealers will do whatever they can to get out of doing warantee work. Did he talk to the service manager?

 

Also, did he have any performance mods on the truck when he took it in?

 

He really doesn't think much of his dealer.He has bought 4 trucks from the same dealer and gets no respect.

 

Wow- guess it's time to find a new dealer!
