Ever had a tranny live through this

The transmission cooler inside the radiator spilt and pumped the ATF into the coolant. Had to add ten quarts of ATF to fill the tranny. I am being told the tranny is not going to live long. Has anyone been able to avoid a rebuild. This tranny had less than 20 miles on it when the radiator gave up. I guess with 87 views and no suggestions I should clarify. Has anyone successfully flushed a tranny after this and had it last for a while?

I had a 94 ram 2500 Flushed the trannie, when they attached their machine it had twisted the fitting and had radiator fluid get into the trannie. It took out the clutches and wiped out the trannie. Not only did I need the trannie rebuilt but I also needed a new radiator!!

That's what I am being told will happen. I'm trying to make it last until I can save the funds to rebuild it.m
