Does anyone live near a place with some real, live, tumbleweeds?

We have this interoffice joke of tumbleweeds blowing around when things get slow at work. I actually looked online to see if there was a place where I could get a few. I got to thinknig, does anyone actually go sit outside on their porch and tumbleweeds blow by? Living in southern Louisiana, there sure aren't any dry ball of weeds blowing around, that's for sure. Anybody on here see them on a regular basis?

Drive across western Kansas on I-70 in the fall and the fences have become a tumbleweed filter!

All over the place here. On a windy day it looks like the great tumbleweed migration.

When we get a bad wind here they tear up fences. People complain that move to new subdivisions when the pile so high they can't get out the door of their house.

I have a whole bunch growing in my yard, and some of them are about 4 ft high.

This is crazy. I can't imagine being out in your yard and having to keep an eye peeled to make sure one of these things don't take you out!

Still no offers to send me one? It doens't need to be big...soccer ball size would be perfect!

Next time I am out in the desert popping off rounds at helpless soda cans, I will grab you one. I will probably go out in the next few weeks.
