Engine Trouble 2005
1) I have been noticing a new noise in the past couple of days, kind of like a squeaky rattle. I now have 11,200 miles.
2) Today it would only make 30 PSI boost in the past I have always had 37 PSI.
3) When I shut down today I did not get the customary shutter and squeak.
Do I have an exhaust leak? If so, before or after the turbo? Is it ok to drive 2 hours to the shop?

I still have pretty good power, I did a 0-60 in 7.1 today just to see if I was low on power. But I will have to deprogram anyway to go to the shop so it wouldn't hurt anything to try.
I would definately check the boots & clamps from turbo all the way to intake , sounds like that might be a culprit for low boost and noise. Also you having an 05 you might have the infamous plastic intercooler that is not real fond of high boost levels . Some have had probs with them some have not .

Like was said above , Check the intercooler for leaks, also check the fittings for leaks. Mix some dish soap and apply it to all fittings and start truck and look for bubbles. Inspect the intercooler for blown ends or noticable leaks. Then if all else fails take it to the dealer.
