engine idle too high

I've got the RPM problem solved!
I talked to the guy I bought the ATS valve body and controller from a few days ago and he suggested that the ECM was getting no vehicle speed input. Hooked it up yesterday and sure enough, that was it. Now I've got the high idle problem left to tackle. Anybody know if my engine coolant sending unit isn't working if that could cause it?
