Engine Died

I was coming back from camping pulling my fifth wheel.
We were going through some big thunderstorms so I thought the stuttering was the wind about 20 inutes later the engine died I coasted for about 10 seconds and it started back up.
But the rest of the way home which thankfully was about five miles it made like pingging sounds and just ran bad.
I did get two codes P 2146 and P 2149
Any help would be great.

I'm way out of warranty,
Should I take it to the ******* to get the code read?
Is replacing injectors something I can do?
I have rebuilt chevys, fords and VW's but not much with diesels.

I believe you may have to take it back to dodge, unless you know someone who knows somthing about it. I hate dealerships touching my truck.. Good luck

Could be an electrical problem from all the rain and the computer is throwing false codes. I had tranny problems with my truck that caused it not to shift sometimes and then it would go into limp mode. Got all kinds of crazy codes, many of which had nothing to do with the tranny. Turned out to be a wire shorting out to ground under the truck causing all the problems and codes. Once I cleared the short everything was fine. That heavy rain you went through may be suspect. Unfortunatley it sounds like a trip to the dealer for you.
