Technically they shouldn't affect warranty, but if there was a problem with the turbo, they could blame it on the install of EGT probe, or if there was a wiring problem they could blame it on the tap connectors, ect. Hard to prove either way, but I would definately consult your dealer first. Maybe even ask them to put it in writing. Doubt if they would, but it would be nice to have!

When I put mine in, around the first 1K miles, I had a discussion with my dealer. They did not see where installing gauges was a big deal. I tow a lot and had concerns about EGT's etc, so I expressed my concerns. They were a little skittish about drilling the exhause manifold for the pyro, but they also said that if the manifold cracked at the pyro install there would be no warranty on the manifold. If it failed anywhere else, the warranty would still be good. They also said the gauges would be good in helping with diagnosing stuff if I had any problems.

The problem is that the dealer will change their tune pretty quick if you actually go there with a warranty issue. They can say whatever when you are asking about it before you do it....it's when you really need them they leave you out in the cold. Most manufacturers will void your warranty to the letter if it's a major cost to them. Just because someone at your dealership SAYS it's ok, doesn't mean it will be if there is a major issue. Just know if you modify your truck in ANY way, it is likely that DC will void your warranty if a major issue arises. Sad but true.
