EGT Temp's

I just put in my egt and boost gauges. At highway speed I run about 700 degrees if I realy get on it i can see 1200.What is too hot and for how long.I expect to see high temps pulling my 37 foot fiver through the mtns.I also want to add a juice box but can I .I have the plastic ends on my intercooler and I am already running about 35 on the boost gauge.

On the 325/600 up that appears to be normal operating EGTs. Seems that 1350* is the generally accepted max EGT to stay below. Operating above that for short bursts should be ok, but not any exented periods. I have seen mine hit 1550* with stock turbo and pressure box on the drag strip for a couple of seconds.

With my current mods (sps66 turbo mainly) I dont get above 1300* on the drag strip even.
