That's awesome, but can someone clarify why EFI Live is so awesome and why it has not been available yet? I know it does wonders on the D max but what can it do that regular programmers can't?

 

EFI is awesome because you can write your own tunes using a laptop to monitor what your truck is doing, according to your specific mods.

The reason it is not out yet for the Cummins is that the ECM for our trucks is a lot different than the chevy ECM. There is a lot more to the code.

Imagine if you could run your truck down the track, look at the data, and say, "Ok. I have too much fuel off the line, but at the 65' mark, I could use some more, and a little less timing."

Something to that effect.

 

OOF! That could sway me away from my beloved 12Valves.......

 

This could get really interesting...good thing I'm holding off on buying stuff for a bit. Might have to go get those twins while we wait to see what happens with Smarty and EFI.

 

good maybe they will give us some new tunes for the smarty then!
