I am trying to find out what I need to change to put dual wheels on my 06 3500 SRW. Also what will need to be done to the front end to run the bud rims.

 

I bet it's cheaper and cleaner looking to sell your SRW for a DRW. I tried to get my brother to convert his first Cummins (2000 DRW) to a SRW...he disagreed. Good luck!

Cheaper to just trade in on a dually. I know you have to get a different rear end and bed. The rear differentials are different, there was a post on here but it has been several months ago on someone doing this. You might try and search for it. I forgot what he did on the front but it is in the post.

 

I am planning on putting a steel flat bed on it. The short bed that came on it just does not have enough space to put everything in it.
