OK, guys gone to the "dark side",,,,,,,,, since the one in my sig. line was "taken out",,,, I picked up a 07' 5.9,,,, I'll add it to the sig. line as soon as I decide if I like it or not,

Nosing around under the hood this past weekend,,,,,, no puke bottle , maybe some of you guys don't know about the puke bottle, crankcase ventilation is what it is.

1/ Where is the one on this newer 5.9 (to me anyways) and how does it do it's job, I know it has something,,,,,,

2/ and is it serviceable,,,,

3/ any pics out there,,,,, haven't gotten the FSM yet

No puke bottle. Puke bottles were just on the last few years of the 2nd gens. Works the same as all open crankcase vents. Just "pukes" to the ground instead of the bottle. Vent tube can be found exiting below fuel filter housing when looking up from the underside.
