Dripping anti- freeze

Came home from hunting and noticed anti-freeze dripping from under the truck. Can't find where the dripping is coming from. Crawled under the truck and the drips are coming off the bottom of the radiator. Any ideas what is leaking? Checked the obvious.

Thanks

Check the return line coming from the overflow tank just under the rad cap. If you don't have a hose clamp on it, you need to put one on there, they commonly leak from that spot.

Take a look at the overflow hose coming out right by the cap. They didn't come with a hose clamp. Might be your problem.

Also take the radiator cap off (when cold) and clean off the seal. Mine was leaking once and that was the problem. It had a coating of sediment or ?, on it and didn't seal anymore. Cleaned it and no more problem.

When my original waterpump started leaking, there was a line of coolant sprayed on the airbox and dripping from the front of the motor/radiator. It is an easy fix. Remove serpentine belt, remove two 10mm bolts holding the water pump, install new water pump, and replace lost coolant.

If the motor has less than 100k, you can get it replaced under the cummins warranty for a 100 deductable. If you're under 5 yrs or 70k, it's free...

Fan shroud has rubbed a hole in the radiator. Is this covered under the 7 year 70K warranty?

I don't think so, man. Look in your warranty booklet, it is pretty specific.

Not covered. Looks to be about a $900.00 repair.

Take the radiator to a repair shop. i just got one fixxed on a 98 3500 that threw a fan blade into the radiator and put 2 small gashes. The radiator repair shop soldered it up for $10. Where and any idea why the shroud is rubbing?
