My '03 did that, and it turned out to be the return valve off the CP3; the CP3 was replaced under warranty.

My SO has been doing something similar I think. It will idle up and then idle real low at a stoplight or when I stop after driving. It will idle so low that it almost acts like it wants to stall out. It seems to do this every other day or two.

Mine only does it when it's cold. I pretty much disregard it because it is so quick. I think it does it more when I put it up on high idle, cause I don't notice it at normal idle.

Mine does it every once in awhile. Usually happens when the engine is warming up. My best guess is it's a glitch in the ECM programming.

Only on warmup.........then when its warm, if the fuel filter has a bunch of miles on it, it will seem to have a ever so slight rough ldle......then go away.

Always been told its "normal"

This is just a HUGE guess on my part since I've noticed it too on my 03 HO and it only happens when its colder weather.

Could it possibly be the computer adjusting the injection timing a smidge where it reads the engines temp going up slightly? This sudden change would probally result in a slight skip I would think.

I don't know how exacting the ECM is with its controls or if its even capable of this... hence just a guess on my part.

....... Preparing for the experts to chime in and give a real response.....
