I would love to fine balljoints that last, you would think a 2wd would be easy on balljoints. I've try Napa, factor oem replaces, they just won't stay .Have any of u guys with 2wd's had this problem? I am talking once a year replacement. Thanks TBoling

No problems with balljoints here - mine last three or four years, or about 150,000 miles. I grease the front end every 10k miles so lube isn't an issue...
The only problem I had was getting the balljoints to stay in - had two pop out on me over the years - I gave up and tack-welded all four in place last time I replaced them (2 years ago).

BTW I use Moog parts from Napa.

My truck has been easy on the ball joints. Replaced the original set about 30k ago. Have them good and greased. However, My truck does not get heavy driving currently 6-10k year mostly freeway with with a trailer.

Most common reason for front end parts wearing out prematurely is people not greasing them

I had to replace both lowers about 15k ago. They were not horrible, but since I was doing springs I pressed a few in.

NAPA and most other parts companies make different grades of parts, I always spring for the good ones and it seems to work for me. FWIW
