Backup Light Trouble on 03??

Has anyone had trouble with their backup lights flickering on and off while in reverse--it is randomn and can be controlled by holding over on the gear shift. Is there a backup switch or something that could be going bad? Mine has the 6-speed. Any ideas?

I have not had that problem , but i know a buddy that did and found his switch that is threaded into the transmission, was loose, making it out of adjustment, tightened it back up and all works great now,
Hope that helps

My brothers 03' 1 ton had an issue with the tail light bulbs vibrating out. He hot glued them, and hasn't had a problem since.
