Do you think this is good for a 48RE?

Don't know too much about additives for transmissions but do you think this is any good has anybody tried it

Everything I have read and learned about Dodge trannies....

Use no addiditives, stay with factory fluid, and use no additives. They are EXTREMELY sensitive to fluid type. Also, the factory fluid is synthetic....just not cheap.

If you want to help the 48re , the best thing you could do is run it till 30-35,000 then adjust bands change filter and replace pan with a deeper one for more oil capacity

Each to their own regarding tranny additives but lubegard is an excellent choice if you do plan on adding it to your tranny fluid. I used it in my 97 without adverse effects and I know others who have used it to improve shifting charateristics. It does work. I've been told several car manufacturesrs use it right from thre factory in their trannys. There are alot of opinions regarding tranny fluids and additives especially when it comes to the 48RE. The choice is ultimitly yours to make.
