Do These Cummins Jel Up?

My dad is a farmer and is always asking if my truck has jelled up yet. It was out in some pretty cold weather this year, and started easy.

Do these trucks still jell up, or did they do something so they won't?

mine is an 05.

If you don't put any additive in it and aren't running winter diesel, I'm sure they could. They do have an inline fuel heater, but that doesn't do anything when it's not running.

Your truck won't Jell the fuel will, but nowa days you usally get the winter mix at the pump. I run Power Service all year it's an anti jell and lubricity additive.
Being on the farm and probably running off road diesel or just #2 it probably doesn't have the anti jell like the ULSD @ the pump does.

I understand this new ULSD will gell at a higher temp. My FUEL in my truck did, and it was slowly loosing fuel pressure. I stopped, and added 911 to it and it cleared up in 5 minutes. It had never done this before this low quality fuel was introduced.
