Disable 4wd in 4 L range ?

I've done this a few times myself... shift is normally around 15mph for me by the time I have it in gear (little practice and it can be done with zero grind) about 10mph... works great for getting full loads of hay moving....

Thanks for the info. I am curious about this. This could be interesting with an automatic, no doubt it would have to be tried a few times to get the right speed, rpm, and technique.
