Diesel Exhaust smell in cab

Hell all, it has been a while since ive been on here. I havnt been driving my truck all too often, especially being diesel was over $5 a gallon where I live. Have my truck over 3 years now, and only have 17,800 miles on her, so goes to show you!!

Anyway, On the days I do drive my truck, and have the A/C on, I am noticing a smell of diesel exhaust fumes in my cab. Theres sometimes that I actually crack the windows cause Im affraid of inhaling too much. I live in Staten Island, and its all street driving, stop and go. At idle its noticable, but I really notice it when im on the local streets cruising, it realy smells in my cab!!

I can't remember if my truck did this alot last year, but this summer, seems like everytime Im driving it, Im always noticing the fumes inside, and its starting to get to me.

Anybody have any ideas of whats going on???

You got the stock or an aftermarket exhaust?

Any noticeable leaks?

Everything is stock on my truck other than an aftermarket Green air filter.

I even tried to pre-load my truck in my driveway, to build up boost, to see if I can notice anything, but nothing.

Im just worried about this, cause when I drive around smelling this in my cab, Im saying, this cant be good to be breathing this in all the time!!

Check the seal on fresh air intake sometimes they come off. Look for any loose or missing bolts on exhaust manifold, where it bolts to cylinder head. They have habit of loosening up, that's why they installed metal straps across the bolts. Tell tale sign would be soot around metal exhaust gastket. Try driving with a/c on recirculate if smell is less or goes away then exhaust is coming in through engine compartment. Check all the bolts on exhaust manifold.
