i'm getting a strong exhaust smell in the cab. but if i have the ac on i don't get it. i don't know where to start looking.

BTW, on my truck one of the exhaust manifold bolts came out (now there is a TSB for exhaust bolt retaining straps) and later the exhaust manifold cracked right in the middle!
