Will a OBD type device show me the boost and rail pressure while running to diagnose an issue?

 

I am going to say "yes".
My Ultragauge do that.

 

I just got a OBD2 and CAN scan tool with ABS from Harbor Frieght. It told me tons of crap. Looked like over a hundred live while it's running info. I would imagine it would tell you. It was like $74 with the 20 off coupon. it was thier better onein the blue box. Not the red ones

Your old Quad Race interceptor module is totally out of date and no longer a good choice, if it ever was.

Since the Quad interceptor module is "intercepting" or "fooling" signals to the ECU, any ODB type diagnostic device will give invalid readings.


I recommend getting rid of the Quad module For your 2005 truck, a Smarty programmer is light years better than any interceptor module.
