Can someone run my buds vin# he got a 06 & we found out it has a reman motor? He did a carfax on it & it was clear. I told him maybe someone who worked @ a dealership could run it & find out when it was replaced & why, then we would now how many miles the new motor has on it. It also puffs a little whit smoke on start up for about 5 seconds, that is just a dirty/sticking injector?

If it was replaced under warranty it would not show up on carfax.

 

no but it should show up under wrranty work performed
