Dead lift pump? Help me diagnose please!

The warranty info should be with your owner's manual. The no deductible part is only on the 3/36 b to b and the 5/100 on the Cummins. The fuel system falls under the latter. One thing I didn't clarify yet is whether or not the new fuel pump in the tank will be covered for the remainder of the 5/100 warranty. The tech thought that it will be.

This whole thing with lift pumps failing is just about the most ridiculous thing I've ever been part of. I mean really, how much more could it possibly cost to put a decent pump on there to start with. $50? Why handcuff the best motor in a pickup with a crappy fuel system? When I read all the other posts on bad pumps I figured I'd be one of the lucky ones with no problems. Don't fall into this way of thinking. Take action before you and your family are stranded somewhere!

At least I'm back on the road again, and it didn't cost anything.
