Dead lift pump!

Went to wal-mart yesterday for fuel when I was pulling up to the pump it died. 53000 miles. They towed it to the dealership called today and said it would be ready monday. I felt like that is pretty good and now I don't have to spend the money for an aftermarket pump. I was afraid it would go out half way to the coast with the traveltrailer in tow. I was going to replace it myself this spring. I was just glad that I had not filled the tank.

Until that lift pump goes out. I know it helps out now nothaving to pay for it, but more than likely it will need replacing again if you keep your truck for any lengt of time.

when I have parts go out it gives me a reason to buy something aftermarket for my truck. Hard to ask the boss for money when the trucks runs great.

They are putting in the in tank pump from what I've read on hear it is better unless you juice the engine up which I don't plan to do. But It would be my luck it will go out eventually.

I just got my Walbro kit today, but I'm missing an o-ring and the instructions or I'd be installing it right now. I like doing things right the first time and then maybe I won't ever have to mess with it again. Plus the Walbro will be there when I start really putting the mods to her.
