Is it dead - any hope??

My poor motor may be dead - I've had significant blow by and burning oil for almost two years now but now, all of sudden it's got really bad. So bad it's pushing raw oil out the breather line and the underside of the truck back to the transmission cross member is wet with oil. Any chance the rings are stuck with carbon - or is it done? A filter "tacoed" a couple years ago and the motor got dusted - that's what started it, but I'm hoping there's something I can do.
thanks - Gerry

Sounds bad. Sorry.
Is the oil over full? If so, could mean injectors are bad and dumping fuel in the oil, causing it to pump out breather. But does sound like engine need a partial rebuild at a minimum.

rebuild it..

sounds like its too far gone to save... im surprised that you ran it when the motor got dusted, and didn't rebuild it then... the significant blowby should have been enough as well as burnt oil, and blowing out oil to spray the undercarriage...

dare I ask though, just having gone through a similar episode (just not as long as what you went) what filter did you have that tacoed?
