Cruise control kicking out 04.5 AT
I did get it fixed, finally. After replacing the diaphragm (which I think was fine after all) and a burned out vacuum pump. As someone else had already mentioned the hard plastic vacuum line did have a hole worn through it, I replaced nearly all of my line with 1/8” ID vacuum line from NAPA. I figured with new lines I could be assured of no leaks.
The system is really pretty simple. First thing I’d do is replace your lines. If you haven’t driven it too much with a hole in the lines your vacuum pump might not be burned out yet.
BUT DON'T WAIT! if you do your vac pump will burn out
