Crank Vent tube, how much do you get?

Just curious, my 2007 5.9 left it's first mark in the driveway last night of oil from the vent tube. Only about the size of a Penny, maybe less. I did not panic as I know this is normal, dip stick reads fine, etc.. I was curious as to why she waited 36,000 miles to do it. LOLOL And how much are you guys seeing that don't have a catch bottle. Thanks!

It varies, Some times I see zero and some tims I see a dime sized drop. I have a piece of cardboard on the floor of my garage I park over and don't worry about it at all cause it is normal.

For me it has been progressively increasing. There is enough recently to make the front diff wet. Clean it at oil changes, 46k miles and change. I am concidering a catch or extending the breather to help with cleanlyness.

Thanks! Seems like once it gets broken in it seems to do it a little more... I was thinking of putting a SOCK on mine. It can breathe and also catch the oil drips?

Mine only seems to "mark it's territory", when I park it facing down hill on the concrete slab in front of my house...it's still only about the size of penny though.

I've only seen mine do this once or twice. Like others said about the size of a dime. I wish I knew why it does it only every once in a while.

I've never seen a drop in 137000 miles, but I have NO blow-by at all surprisingly. My buddies 04.5 has 90K on it and leaves huge puddles everywhere he goes, but his truck runs great and the dealer says it's normal. Who knows, if it's not using much, I would let it roll.
