Expansion without proper venting, or emulsification. I think I would change the fluid. Maybe check and clean the vent on the end of the tube.

You may want to make sure the BHAF isn't preventing the vent from operating. Make sure it's not in contact with it.

You sure the BHAF isn't sucking the oil up and out of the diff <br><br>Seriously... the winter weather can allow ice to form in vent tube if any moisture is present.. building up psi and then releasing and carrying oil up and out..<br>Change oil in diff bet it has condensation in it.<br><br>DuaneW.

Both my 98 &amp; 99 would do this but only after a long trip (250 miles plus) Would check and never was low on fluid. It would be so bad that there would be an oil spot where I had parked after the trip. Once it was bad enough that at a stop light we could smell it in the cab (I think it was on the first long trip in my 98) It finnally just quit.
