Could there be any damage?

Sunday night, i was out cruising around. Stopped at a stop light turned my TST up and got on it. The next thing i knew i was puffing white smoke and the truck felt as if it were running on 2 cylinders. Pulled over and started checking. Finally a discovered 3 out of the 4 bolts on the crank pullley had come loose. I suppose this is what caused all the white smoke and horrible running. I tightened them all back up and drove home. Putt putted all the way home around 10% throttle. My concern is, could anything bad have happened to the motor?? Just want to make sure before i drive it hard again.

since the pulley retains the tone ring for the crank position sensor, you probably just really confused the poor thing with the timing jumping around. after tightening it up, how did it run on the way home?

ran fine, a little bit of rattle though, what way do you turn the tone ring to retard the timing? if you are looking at the front of the truck?

the engine rotates clockwise when looking at the front. to retard the timing, rotate counterclockwise. there is only a tiny bit of slop in the bolts and alignment dowel. doubtful there is enough play to change the sound. but that's the direction to go.
