They invoked a curfew here to prevent LOOTING.....Buhahahahah OMG. And the base went to skeleton crews only. And ALL businesses had to be closed by 11pm....Can you imagine if this had been a real storm. Wal-Mart was horrible...I just wantd to get some dinner stuff, and there were people walking out with water, batteries, canned goods.......and I could not even get a loaf of bread....man.

Yeah, I tried to call onslo beach to make a reservation, and they said they were shut down...

They almost evacuated the depot on wednesday, called a quater mill worth of busses up to get the recruits, then sent them all back...

When I had to evacuate as a recruit in 99, we rode school busses...That was painful...

so long as they didn't make ya ride the short bus mad......... well that 1 inch ya had down your ways streteched itself quite a bit up here, we had about 6 inches of rain _____ acording to dear old Dad and his rain gauge, lots of low quick to flood areas were barricaded off to keep the idjets out of trouble.. didn't stop me from makin a 35 mile run to go watch the UFC fights with some friends. Beautiful day out now, 73 degrees and a nice breeze, low humidity. y'all b safe down there.

It was not bad at my place either I never even lost power. I did have a tree branch fall on my fence. Other than that everything is good.

Not much to talk about here in mid-NC. Bunch of pine straw in the pool.

I wouldn't let this alter due regard for these things though.

We didn't have alot of rain, but the wind took down two large trees (oaks) on my Wifes parents property. Spent all day yeserday cutting trees with the chain saws and cleaning up alot of wind driven tree debris in all of the yards.

It sounds like everyone that has posted did not have any major damage. The storm did not get as strong as they thought it would.
