Could this be an injector problem?

Hey, I have an 05 diesel with about 130k miles on it. I run about 700 miles a week for various reasons. I'm wondering if I have fuel injection issue on my hands. The problem tends to occur when the truck has been sitting for a while. For example, in the morning, I will pull out of my driveway and go about 20 mph through my subdivision. When I approach the first turn, I let of the accelerator, but the truck will keep accelerating. Even if I hit the brakes, I can still feel it pulling. It really feels like cruise control. I let off and it will maintain the speed for 5 to 10 seconds. If I put it in nuetral, then it stops. I love the truck, but unfortunately, I don't know a lot about diesels. Any ideas? I am good friends with the dodge dealer here in town. He acted like it could be pretty pricey to fix. Any insight would help.

Thanks

probably not injectors sticky FCA? fuel control actuator in cp3 injection pump sticking or maybe accelerator position sensor. neither will break the bank to replace.

That's exactly what mine did when the #1 injector failed, it was running a bit rough as well but the sticking throttle was what got my attention. Have it checked out.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to have the injectors tested out, especially if they are the originals...

Before I sent them to the dealer, check out this link.
