Question code p0483 = fan clutch?

3 days ago I disconnected battery terminals to clean posts. Later on I checked for codes(didnt check before) It came up with p0483 - cooling fan speed. Fan seems to turn ok . Not running higher temps. Clutch feels ok, no slop. Is my clutch going out? Anyone else have this problem, if so how much is a fan clutch?
I have 75 k miles on it.

Not overheating, nothing unusual.

I get the same codes after plowing. The dealer can not seem to figure it out. Replaced clutch fan and it still does it. Everything seems to still work fine.

If it is your fan clutch you will find out when it gets warmer. Your A/C won't stay cool when you idle for a while. I never had a problem with the engine getting hot but the A/C will let you know. Mine is doing it right now. It will get fixed next month along with a few other things.

i had that p0483 along with a p0107... dealer fixed both at one shot... new fan clutch and new intake air temp sensor/barometric pressure sensor... i didn't notice anything with the p0483 but the p0107 made the engine stumble right at 1900-2000 under load and then the engine defueled big time [and set an SES code]
