Code P0088

How many users of the Quad box are getting this code for high fuel rail pressure.

I did not get it with the Quad Race box or the Juice/EZ stack. I do get it with TST(Twins) and BDDL download stack on some high TST settings. Hope someone finishes a Modded Injection Pump for the 600+ soon.

Yep I got an 0088 right now and have also thrown another code but can t remember the number off the top of my head. Well I went back and found it it is a p 0251. I posted a question about it twice but still got no responce so if anyone can help me on that I would appriciate it. Also I know what the codes mean I just dont know if I should be worried or what I should do about them.

P0251 Generic Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control A

Looks related to the P0088 code, could be just asking for too much rail pressure for engine parameters. Could be lot of things, but seems always associated with performance boxes/downloaders modifying fuel rail pressure.

Its' the MPROP located on the cp3 pump. This is not a serviceable item, so you will not be able to swap it out (although it is only 2 screws and one connector). Bosch requires the whole pump to be swapped.

Also, I don't see how a modded cp3 would help anyone. No matter what. the pop off valve will pop if you go above the max fuel pressure and the ECM will set a fault if you overpressurize the rail.

You need a modded pop off valve (for a higher pressure) and some code in the box that will increase the max fuel pressure allowed without a fault.
