The throttle on my 03 auto acted up this morning coming to work it slowed down by its self and then took off like a rocket I never changed throttle position. I'm assuming its the TPS the CEL came on and now I have this code can someone tell me what the code means??

 

That is a TPS code , some have had success cleaning , a search for cleaning should find the directions .
With a wiring diagram , to find what color to connect a meter to , move linkage slow & watch , should move with a slow increase in resistance with out any erratic or loss of reading , if odd readings replace or clean .

If it is your TPS sensor, the cheapest place to buy one is from Cummins, its half the price dodge wants for it.

 

Have you tried resetting it. Look in the tech fact's on how to do it.

 

Thanks guys It reset its self I guess the check engine light went off and it has not done it since. The truck did this one other time after we bought it about a year ago.
