Clutch slipping already
Already, after only ~185k miles, 6 1/2 years as a daily driver through Bay Area traffic and about 40k miles of pulling the trailer, the clutch is slipping under full power. I'm happy with the stock clutch.
Q1 - Do I need to replace the flywheel too as normal maintenance or does it take a re-surfacing or what?
Q2 - Where is a good place to purchase stock clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, etc, at a good price?
Q3 - Any special tools other than a tranny lift?
Q4 - Any advice?

Well if you pull alot i wouldnt go back with stock clutch. If you wanna stock clutch call the dealership. I have one from clutchmasters stage 4 which is the same price as stage 1 through 4 but that was like 2 years ago. It wasnt much past stock clutch good price came with pressure plate and alignment tool to match it up which you would need. I got my flywheel resurfaced it was a little glaze after slipping for a while. i would check for the prices on new flywheel if not much then i would reccomend it. also the clutch comes with throughout bearing. Would nt hurt to look around valair is very good and southbend. Good luck

South Bend and Valair both make stock replacement clutches (organic). Plan your budget for a new flywheel too just in case. You may be able to have the stock one resurfaced, or it might end up having some cracks in it.

Check the DTR Store, they have the proper clutch for you . I just got through looking at it myself. I don't need a clutch at this time but I look every once in a while.
